Today is my dad's 60th birthday. When Tucker found out that it is was Papa's birthday, his eyes lit up and he told me that "he wanted to go to the birthday party." We didn't get to see Dad on his birthday since Tucker had the flu, but Tucker did call him and wish Dad a Happy Birthday. Tucker was determined to see Dad and mom so he asked them to pick him up tomorrow at his school (they are going to be in the metroplex, anyway). He told them that they could even bring him his Valentine present early. He has been so happy all evening knowing that he will see his Peaches and Papa tomorrow. Tucker even volunteered to go to bed at 8:30 just so tomorrow will come faster! He also told me that it was ok for me to go back to work and that he will go to school tomorrow just so my parents can pick him up. Just knowing that they will be here has made Tucker feel 100% better. Grandparents are good medicine!

My sick baby
Yesterday Tucker came down with the flu. It came on fast! Tucker spent Monday just sleeping and throwing up. I took him to the dr. yesterday afternoon and they swabbed his boogers to test for the flu. Not a great experience, but Tucker was a trooper. Even sick he says the funniest things. He told me as we were walking to the Dr. office, "mama, you do the talking. You know what's wrong." We are now all taking Tamiflu to get rid of this mess.
His fever finally broke late last night and today has been a brand new day! I spent most of today cleaning and sanitizing the house. Tucker seems to be back to normal with just a little bit of a cough. He is back to bothering Willy, so all is well! Here is a picture of him just relaxing and playing games on the computer.
