We spent the 4th of July with John's mom and dad. We spend the day at home just swimming in our pool and hanging out. We cooked a good ole fashioned American meal of hamburgers and hot dogs for our Canadian family. As we were eating our dessert of angel food cake with blueberries and strawberries, Tucker notice that it was a "red, white, and blue" dessert. I didn't plan it to be that way on purpose, but thought that it was funny that he noticed.
Once it became dark, we went upstairs to view the fireworks from our windows. It was a nice, cool way to watch fireworks. Not quite as good as Disney World fireworks, but I am guessing that our little community doesn't exactly have the same budget as Disney.
