Happy 5th of July

For one reason or another, I have not been able to spend any part of the July 4th holiday at the our lake cabin, so this year Tucker and I had the chance to go. Ok, so it was the 5th of July, but Independence Day is celebrated over several days there. I really wanted to Tucker to go so that he could see all of his 2nd cousins (cousints, as he calls them). We share the lake cabin with my mom's sister and her family, so during the July 4th holiday, there are lots of people there now that our families have multiplied due to marriages and babies. We missed Cameron and Abbey, but managed to see just about everyone else. Grandmama even braved the heat to come out and that just made the day even more special. Tucker loves a party and with everyone around, it is a party that never stops. The only thing that he loves more than a good time with his cousins, is for Grandmama to be around, too. She is eighty-something (wouldn't be polite to give away her exact age) going on 65. I can even remember not too many years ago that she waterskiied, just to still see if she could do it. She and her brother actually owned the lake cabin before my mom and aunt, so the lake cabin has been in our family for a long time. You all are probably getting tired of hearing about the lake, but during the summer that is our home away from home and there always seems to be something that happens when we go there.
